Thankfully, this picture was taken last year at about this time. We are now on day 7 of our binkie-free program and we are doing WONDERFULLY! Anders took it extremely hard for the first day and a half. I am so lucky he adjusted so well. He is so proud of himself for kicking this habit. He tells everyone, "I not have binkie anymore, I'n a basketball player." We basically brain-washed him by telling him over and over that "basketball players don't have binkies." It has been an amazing week, free of binkie-related temper-tantrums. He actually falls asleep a little faster without it. The biggest fear I had of taking it away was that he wouldn't take naps anymore. So far, he's still an amazing nap-taker! How could I be so lucky???
