Today was Ryder's 3rd birthday and he invited us to celebrate it with him at Chuck E Cheese. We had a great time! We really didn't see much of Ryder (or Billy for that matter) because he had a pocket full of tokens plenty to spend it on. Before today, Anders was terrified of those quarter rides. He's kind of a cautious child. He really didn't like that it moved. However, this trip to Chuck E Cheese changed all of that! He had the time of his life. He especially loved the "neighs" (that's horse in Anders' language). The one ride Anders really was not comfortable with was this tricked-out truck that had a really ghetto suspension. He gripped the side of the door the entire time and did not look up. Anders loved this miniature skee ball game. I could not get him away from it. In fact, I could
not get him to sit still to take a picture with me because he was so concerned the other kids were going to play with his game. It took us MANY times to get as good of a picture as we got. We had so much fun with Billy, Nikki, Ryder, and Easton. We are so sad their move is getting closer and closer. We'll miss them so much! I just don't know if I can take a whole summer of, "Where's Ry Ry?"
Here's Anders getting down with Chuck E Cheese on stage! He definitely showed him up!
Anders watching Billy master his technique. He seriously played this game over and over and was competing with Ryder for tokens. It brought back so many of my childhood memories!
